Principal Duties and Accountabilities:
- Receives, stores and issues tools, material and equipment to workers and maintains records of tools and equipment issued and returned. (manually or via computer)
- Responsible for locating lost or misplaced tools and equipment.
- Responsible for preparing periodic inventory and/or maintain perpetual inventory of tools and equipment. (manually or via computer)
- Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment for defects and wear, visually and reports damage or wear to supervisors.
- Repairs, services, and lubricates tools and equipment, using had tools, spray gun or pressurized spray can.
- Responsible for marking and identifying tools and equipment, using identification tag, stamp, or electric marking tool.
- May deliver or load out-going tools or equipment to workers, manually or using hand truck/forklift.
Education & Experience:
- High School or equivalent experience
- Forklift operator certification a plus, but not required
- Performs work under general supervision.
- Ability to handle moderately complex issues and problems.
- Must be self-motivated, and able to execute multi-step instructions.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Ability to use a computer.
- Positive team mindset.
- Detail oriented
- Organizational skills
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions.
- The range for this position has been established at $21.00 - $26.42 per year and is U.S. Engineering’s good faith and reasonable estimate at the time of the posting. The compensation offered to the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
